This project was a self-generated brief for my final semester at University called, Harmonise which is a music magazine made to inspire young adults to explore art movements more thoroughly when it comes to graphic design. The intention of the magazine was developed on how to educate people on 'over-looked' art forms whilst entertaining the magazine's audience. I combined this with my love of editorial design and music to create ‘HARMONISE’ magazine where a music genre is paired with an art movement to create a harmony of the arts. I researched the art movements extensively to achieve the most authentic and compelling design for the music genre, art movements and the audience. I wanted to push boundaries on how we present information in editorial design and create artwork to engage my audience not only with articles but all elements of the magazine.
